Instagram Reels now has a section specifically for creators’ trends

Creators will now be able to see what the top trending topics and hashtags are on Reels.

Instagram, which is owned by Meta, has unveiled new capabilities for its short-video creation tool to help creators.

The social network has expanded the number of nations that can receive presents on Reels, added two new metrics to Reels insights, and created a dedicated location for popular audio and hashtags.

The top trending themes and hashtags on Reels will now be visible to creators.

By merging video clips, audio, stickers, and text on a one editing interface, we’re making it simpler for you to edit your reels on Instagram, said Meta.

This facilitates a more visual alignment and timing of your reel’s elements to the appropriate occasions.

Mobile

Both iOS and Android mobile devices around the world can use this capability.

Total watch time and average watch time are the two new metrics that have been added to Reels.

Total watch time tracks all of the time spent watching your reel, including any time spent replaying it. Average watch time, which is determined by dividing watch time by the total number of plays, captures the average length of time spent watching your reel, according to the business.

If, for instance, your average view time is 17 seconds, then, on average, each person who watched your reel for 17 seconds.

This will make it easier for creators to spot areas where viewers are interested or where a bigger hook may be needed to keep them watching.

“We’re also introducing a fresh way to track how your reels are advancing your career. The business said you’ll now get a message for new reel-related followers.

In order to help creators recognize their supporters, the firm is also introducing a new tool that will display which people have sent them gifts.
